This 1,450 m² addition to St. Joseph Secondary School features specialized systems for technical classrooms and an expansion of the existing mechanical systems. Capacities of the existing central plants were increased in order to suit the addition. Sustainable features include energy recovery, occupancy sensing, low demand lighting systems and low flow plumbing systems. Mechanical and electrical systems cost was $1.5 million. The project was completed in 2012.
