London Health Sciences Centre Hospital Redevelopment

This project was a $450 million phased redevelopment project that began nearly 15 years ago. The work involved both Victoria and University hospitals, and the construction of a new eleven-storey, 65,000 m2 hospital tower, air-handling unit replacements in several buildings, central plant upgrades, and extensive infrastructure changes, all while the hospital with nearly 15,000 staff remained fully operational. Mechanical and electrical systems for Milestone II, Phase II alone (completed in 2011) exceeded $120 million. The project was completed in 2015.
