
This project was a $22 million, 6,000 m2 addition and extensive renovation to the existing mechanical and electrical systems in the library, completed while the building remained fully operational. The project included upgrades to electrical systems including replacement of customer owned 13.8kV substation and 480V distribution. The project received 3 Green Globes for energy efficient design and won the Ontario Library Association Library Building Award for 2014. The project was completed in 2014.
