This project was a new 12,000 m² residence and dining pavilion. The building's mechanical systems include one of Canada’s largest Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) fan coil HVAC systems, and low flow plumbing fixtures. Electrical systems designed included LED lighting throughout the facility and centralized lighting controls. The facility was awarded a perfect 5 Green Globe rating, in part attributed to the anticipated energy efficiency of the building. It is expected to use 60% less energy than Canada’s model national energy code.
