The facility features fume hood exhaust energy recovery, a variable speed centrifugal chiller and cooling tower, low temperature heating system with condensing boilers, premium efficiency motors throughout, variable speed pumping systems, waterless urinals and low flow solar powered plumbing fixtures. Energy costs are 44% lower than a building built to current code requirements. The project was completed in 2010.
