This project was a new $17 million, 4,000 m2 addition to the Spencer Engineering Building. The complex facility includes nanotechnology, biotechnology and biofuel labs. It functions as a “Living Laboratory” with ongoing, accessible monitoring of various sustainable features integrated into the Green Building Research Laboratories. The project was completed in 2009.
