This is new $43 million, 5,000 m2 children’s health and rehabilitation facility. The building’s mechanical systems are designed to minimize overall carbon emissions. The primary source of heating and cooling will be water source heat pumps with fluid coolers and a high efficiency condensing boiler. A future geothermal borefield can provide source energy for the water source heat pumps, reducing dependence on the gas-fired boiler plant. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.
