Chorley + Bisset was the Prime Consultant for this project which involved the design of an emergency backup power system to serve the entire hospital. Three generators sized at 3.5MW, operating at 13.8kV, and paralleling switch gear were provided. The new emergency power plant was embedded into the existing 13.8kV loop feeder system to distribute emergency power throughout the hospital. Various electrical room upgrades were provided in 5 separate locations within the hospital. This project encompassed 6 separate projects completed over 11 construction phases. This project was completed in 2022.
