This is a new $50 million, three-storey, 4,000 m2 laboratory research facility. The building uses an innovative HVAC system using heat recovery chillers to both heat and cool the building. Coupled with a low temperature energy recovery system that preconditions ventilation air, building performance is expected to be world class. All mechanical and electrical systems for this mission critical facility are heavily redundant. Construction is expected to be completed in 2022.
