This $27 million, three storey, 10,545 m2 facility was designed with a focus on energy efficiency. To minimize energy use, interior and exterior rooms are served by separate HVAC systems utilizing VAV. Premium efficient condensing boilers provide all heating, premium efficiency electric motors are used and variable speed pumping systems provided. All plumbing fixtures are low flow fixtures. LED lighting was used throughout the facility. Rooms have flexible lighting controls arranged to accommodate a variety of functions and uses. This project was completed in 2014.
